"Every birthday, I update/ upgrade my scent. This sets the tone for my year and whenever I smell one of my old perfumes, I'm instantly transported to a memory from that particular year.
This year I'm opting out of my usual department store fragrance, and have settled on a bottle of Via Dei Mille from my favourite little online Italian boutique, The Profumeria (Gelsomino is my favourite - Mandarin, Bergamot, Violet Leaf, Jasmine, Iris and Sandalwood).
I promise you, she smells as chic as she looks... if I can't do an Italian summer... at least I can smell like an Italian summer!"
